Description
This beautiful prayer rug was put on the loom by Suraya Memishova on December 5, 2020 and was finished February 20, 2020. This is Suraya’s 11th rug with our project. I always love the cozy visits in the winter months as I assess the progress of our rug projects. I remember sitting in the back room of her small home, the only room of the house with a wood stove watching her work on this rug. They took in a tiny kitten who was playing with the yarn Suraya was weaving. What an interesting scene it was!
